Service Configuration / IT Asset Manager / Configuration Management Database Lead
Role Overview
Service Configuration / IT Asset Manager / Configuration Management Database Lead required for an Energy trading House. The firm is active in both Derivative & Physical trading, cross asset including Power, LNG, Metals & Agriculture. As the Service config & CMDB lead, you'll act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Configuration management across technology, improving controls and ensuring the CMDB provides accurate information to service management, risk & audit.

- Governance and Automation: Drive improvement through automation, scripting, API integrations, and reducing manual data maintenance.
- CMDB Management: Govern CMDB, automated discovery, asset inventory, CI Lifecycle, data ownership, scripting.
- Discovery and Scanning Tools: Own key discovery and scanning tools, including Lansweeper and Atlassian Assets Discovery.
- Data Quality: Identify data-quality issues across multiple sources and work with accountable system owners to resolve discrepancies at source.
- Reporting: Provide regular reporting on CMDB health, discovery coverage, risks, remediation, and improvement opportunities.
- Framework Ownership: Own the configuration management framework, standards, processes, and procedures. Continually improve the CMDB within the Atlassian ecosystem and own all integrations.

Compensation
- Salary: Up to £80,000
- Benefits: Included
- Bonus: Included
- Location: 3 days in the office based in London City
