Responsibilities
- Become the Guardian of Service Integrity
As a Configuration Manager, you'll be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of critical configuration data across complex IT environments. Your work ensures that systems, applications, and infrastructure remain controlled, auditable, and reliable.

Influence Change and Reduce Operational Risk
You'll play a key role in supporting Change, Incident, and Problem Management by ensuring configuration information is accurate and trusted. This enables safer changes, faster troubleshooting, and improved service resilience across customer environments. -

Job Description
As Configuration Manager you would be responsible for maintaining the consistency and integrity of system performance, physical, and functional attributes. You will oversee configuration management databases, manage hardware and software baselines, and coordinate change controls to prevent disruptions, ensure compliance, and support seamless deployments.
Core Responsibilities
- Identification: Categorize, track, and label configuration items (CIs) such as servers, software, documents, and infrastructure.
- Control: Baseline system parameters and rigorously control how changes are implemented, often by leading Change Advisory or Configuration Control Boards.
- Status Accounting: Document and report the historical and current states of all items to ensure full traceability.
- Verification & Auditing: Conduct regular audits to ensure actual configurations match the authorized, recorded states.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure technical documentation, software builds, and systems meet regulatory and organizational standards.

Key Skills & Requirements
- Database Management: High proficiency in structuring and maintaining complex Configuration Management Databases (CMDB).
- Tool Familiarity: Experience with version control and configuration tools
- Cross-functional Leadership: Ability to act as a bridge between developers, quality assurance, system engineers, and executive stakeholders.
