Conflicts Attorney | US Law Firm

Our client, a top US law firm, is actively recruiting for a Qualified Lawyer to join them on a permanent basis in their London office with their Global Conflicts New Business Department – working as their new Conflicts Attorney.
The team is split between the UK, EU and US – working closely together to provide exceptional conflicts clearance and new business intake services across the firm and their global offices. Being the Conflicts Attorney, you’ll be in an advisory and stakeholder facing role!
As the successful Conflicts Attorney, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Reviewing and escalating conflict searches submitted during London business hours
- Advising on new business intake policies and procedure issues across various jurisdictions
- Reviewing and approving new clients/matters
- Ensuring compliance with the firms new business intake policies and procedures
- Supporting the onboarding of lateral Partners and Associates
- Participating in weekly meetings and contributing knowledge and updates
- Preparing comprehensive Conflict Summaries for Partners

To be considered for this new opportunity, you’ll need to have/be the following:
- Be a minimum of 1 PQE from a top US or international law firm
- Have working knowledge of professional conduct roles (SRA Code of Conduct, ABA Model Rules or Professional Conduct)
- Ideally, have experience in Legal Conflicts or Business Intake from a US or international law firm
- Ideally, have exposure/experience with conflict search applications (Intapp Open, WorldCheck, Orbis, etc)
