We're working with a leading international law firm to appoint a Conflicts Lawyer to its global risk and compliance team.

This role offers the opportunity to advise on conflicts, ethics and regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictions, supporting new business intake, lateral hires and wider risk management initiatives. The position would suit a qualified lawyer with experience in conflicts, compliance, risk or professional responsibility within a law firm environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on conflicts of interest relating to new matters and lateral recruitment
  • Researching and analysing legal ethics, professional responsibility and compliance issues
  • Supporting firmwide risk management projects and policy initiatives
  • Reviewing engagement terms and other client-related documentation
  • Partnering with stakeholders across the business to resolve complex compliance queries

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or equivalent
  • Experience in conflicts, compliance, risk or legal/regulatory advisory work within a law firm
  • Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, international environment
