The Thames Valley and Wessex Congenital Heart Disease Network
The Thames Valley and Wessex Congenital Heart Disease Network is responsible for ensuring the delivery of seamless high-quality care, in line with national standards from fetal life into adulthood across the region. The network has a Level 1 centre at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) and delivers high-quality care, education and research across the region in partnership with the Level 2 service based at Oxford University Hospital Foundation NHS Trust (OUH) and numerous Level 3 centres across the Thames Valley and Wessex region and parts of the South West.

The Role
The Lead Nurse(s) for the Congenital Heart Disease ODN will provide nursing leadership across the network, acting as a source of expertise, healthcare professionals, commissioning colleagues and national bodies for both Adult and Children's CHD.
The Lead Nurse (s) will work with the Network Manager, Education team and Lead Clinicians as part of a multi-disciplinary leadership team to lead the strategic and operational development of coherent and effective network arrangements, and delivery of a programme of work that addresses national and local priorities.
You will also, in partnership with the ODN Education team, play a key role in delivering and reviewing education and training for CHD within the ODN.
