Congress Lead

Important Details:
- 12-month contract
- 100% Remote (UK)
- Monday to Friday: 7 hours a day
- £300-£340/Day
Responsibilities include:
- Lead end-to-end planning, orchestration, and delivery of priority congresses, ensuring seamless execution across the full congress lifecycle.
- Act as the central point of contact (SPOC) for internal stakeholders, congress organisers, vendors, and external partners.
- Develop and manage integrated congress plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, timelines, budgets, risks, and governance requirements.
- Oversee onsite congress operations, vendor management, logistics coordination, issue resolution, and adherence to compliance standards.
- Drive post-congress activities including performance reporting, financial reconciliation, stakeholder debriefs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience delivering pharmaceutical or healthcare congresses from planning through execution and close-out.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills within complex matrix organisations.
- In-depth knowledge of congress logistics, sponsorship models, compliance requirements, and governance processes.
- Ability to serve as a central coordinator and decision-maker, managing multiple vendors, agencies, and internal teams simultaneously.
