Connections Contract Manager (Levels 6-8)

Salary: £42,781 - £60,046 per annum (depending on experience and level)
Location: Warwick, Wokingham or Glasgow (Hybrid, 1-2 days in the office per week)
Contract Length: 6 Months with potential for extension or temp to perm.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Connections Contract Manager to join NESO's Connections Operations team. You will play a pivotal role in supporting customers through the connection process for generation and demand projects connecting to Great Britain's electricity network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer contracts and agreements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Act as the primary contact for customers, handling queries, challenges, complaints and case management activities.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate contractual, commercial and operational risks.
  • Resolve complex customer and commercial issues through effective problem solving and stakeholder engagement.
  • Build strong relationships across customers, project teams and wider stakeholders.
  • Ensure contractual obligations, governance requirements and key milestones are achieved.
  • Support multiple projects and priorities within a regulated environment.

Essential Experience

  • Proven Contract Management experience, including management of customer agreements.
  • Experience working within a regulated environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience resolving commercial issues.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across multiple projects or portfolios.
  • Experience handling customer complaints, escalations and case management activities.
  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills with evidence of delivering positive customer outcomes.
  • Ability to identify, assess and manage risks effectively.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
