Connectivity Director I Viator

About Tripadvisor

The Tripadvisor Group connects people to experiences worth sharing, and aims to be the world’s most trusted source for travel and experiences. We leverage our brands, technology, and capabilities to connect our global audience with partners through rich content, travel guidance, and two-sided marketplaces for experiences, accommodations, restaurants, and other travel categories. The subsidiaries of Tripadvisor, Inc. (Nasdaq: TRIP), include a portfolio of travel brands and businesses, including Tripadvisor, Viator, and TheFork.

Tripadvisor is looking for a Connectivity Director to own the technical and commercial relationship between our platform and the reservation systems (restechs) our supplier partners rely on. This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll set the connectivity strategy, build C-suite relationships with restech partners, and roll up your sleeves alongside engineers when a hard integration problem needs solving.

You'll lead the team responsible for supplier and restech connectivity – the APIs, integration technologies, and configuration processes that let millions of travellers book experiences seamlessly. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and commercial teams to make sure our connectivity capability scales with the business.

Job Location: UK, offices in London and Oxford.

This role is a remote position in the United Kingdom. Occasional travel to company offices as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the Connectivity strategy – a clear point of view on where supplier and restech integrations need to go, aligned to our broader technical direction (faster releases, better observability, simplification, AI driven efficiencies).
  • Build and maintain C-suite level relationships with restech and supplier partners, acting as the senior technical face of Tripadvisor in those conversations.
  • Stay genuinely hands-on: dig into API design, integration architecture, and connectivity issues directly, not just from a distance.
  • Lead, grow and mentor a team of tech leads and engineers – with experience building teams from scratch or reinvigorating existing ones globally.
  • Partner closely with Product to shape the connectivity roadmap; this is a product-oriented team and role.
  • Instigate change: bring new technologies and approaches to the team, and create space for technical creativity.
  • Own escalation and resolution of complex operational and connectivity issues, keeping transactions and integrations running smoothly at scale.
  • Oversee configuration, monitoring and testing of supplier integrations, and drive continuous improvement of the tools and processes behind them.
  • Respond quickly and positively as remit, priorities or team structure evolve.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
