Role Overview

As Consents Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to our Consents team, helping to manage legal consents across the Rendall & Rittner portfolio. You will play a key role in ensuring requests such as subletting, lease variations, and alterations are handled accurately, promptly and in line with lease obligations and company policy.

This is a homebased role aligned to Manchester, giving you the flexibility to work remotely while collaborating closely with Property Managers, leaseholders, solicitors and freeholders. Your calm, detail-focused approach will help create a smooth experience for customers and colleagues, protecting compliance and supporting great service.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

Most days you will manage an active caseload of consent requests, keeping cases moving by gathering information, drafting documentation, and updating trackers. You will coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, provide clear updates, and ensure every outcome is recorded and compliant with the lease and our processes.

  • You progress consent requests efficiently, meeting agreed service levels and timescales.
  • Case records and trackers are accurate, complete and audit-ready at all times.
  • Communications are clear, courteous and timely, with stakeholders well informed.
  • Lease obligations and procedures are consistently followed with zero avoidable errors.
  • Risks and complex issues are identified early and escalated appropriately.
  • You contribute positively to process improvements and team knowledge sharing.

How You'll Spend Most Of Your Time

  • Triaging and administering consent requests for subletting, alterations and lease variations.
  • Drafting standard letters, forms and documentation, and preparing case files for approval.
  • Liaising with leaseholders, solicitors, Property Managers and freeholders to gather information and provide updates.
  • Maintaining accurate trackers and systems, ensuring data integrity and document control.
  • Chasing outstanding fees, documents and approvals to keep cases on track.
  • Following workflows and checklists, escalating complex or non-standard matters when needed.

Who This Role Is For

  • You are organised, detail-driven and comfortable managing multiple cases at pace.
  • You communicate clearly in writing and by phone, adapting your style to your audience.
  • You enjoy process-driven work and take pride in getting the details right every time.
  • You are self-motivated in a homebased environment and collaborate well with remote teams.
  • You are Manchester-based or within reach for occasional in-person meetings if required.

Experience That Helps

  • Administration within property management, legal, conveyancing or housing.
  • Exposure to residential leases, title documents or similar compliance-led paperwork.
  • Managing high-volume inboxes, trackers and case management systems.
  • Customer service with sensitive or technical queries and clear written correspondence.
  • Confident use of Microsoft 365 and CRM/workflow tools.
