The Role

Are you a technically strong accountant who enjoys complex reporting, solving challenges and working with a wide range of stakeholders?

We're looking for a Consolidation Reporting Accountant to join our Group Reporting team in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in one of the UK's leading property businesses, taking ownership of statutory reporting across a large and diverse group structure while helping shape our financial reporting processes.

You'll work closely with senior finance leaders, external auditors, and teams across the business, giving you real visibility and the opportunity to make an impact beyond the numbers.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading the production of monthly IFRS group consolidations and key Board reporting.
  • Preparing the Group's annual and interim financial statements, ensuring they're delivered accurately and on time.
  • Managing statutory reporting for more than 300 legal entities, including annual financial statements, quarterly bank reporting, and regulatory submissions.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for external auditors throughout the statutory audit process.
  • Maintaining and improving our Oracle General Ledger, including chart of accounts management and user acceptance testing for system enhancements.
  • Supporting treasury reporting, corporate simplification projects, and entity reserve management.
  • Keeping our reporting compliant with the latest UK GAAP and IFRS requirements while identifying opportunities to improve processes and controls.
  • Partnering with teams across Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Company Secretarial to deliver high-quality reporting and resolve technical accounting queries.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
