Consolidation & Reporting Accountant

Inc Consulting are proud to be working with a long-standing client partner, based in Lincolnshire, to recruit a newly created Consolidation & Reporting Accountant position. This is an exciting opportunity to join a large, complex and growing organisation operating within a highly regulated sector. Created as a result of continued business growth, this role will play a key part in strengthening the Group Finance function and delivering high-quality consolidated reporting to support strategic decision-making.

Job Description

  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidated financial reporting under IFRS.
  • Manage complex group consolidations, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translations and supporting reconciliations.
  • Produce consolidated reporting packs, cash flow statements and analytical reports for senior leadership teams and external stakeholders.
  • Support lender and financing reporting requirements, ensuring information is delivered accurately and on time.
  • Act as a key contact during the external audit process, preparing schedules, reconciliations and responding to audit queries.
  • Drive continuous improvement across reporting processes, controls and governance frameworks within Group Finance.

Person Specification

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience within a group reporting, consolidation or technical accounting role.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and consolidated financial reporting requirements.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large, complex data sets.
  • Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple finance functions.
