In the UK, we have a key focus on the Nuclear sector, contributing to ground breaking projects, such as Hinkley Point C (HPC).
We are recruiting multiple Constructability Leads with opportunities available across Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC disciplines to support one of the UK's largest nuclear new-build programmes.
Drawing on first-hand Hinkley Point C (HPC) construction delivery experience, successful Constructability Leads will use lessons learned, installation expertise and practical site knowledge to influence construction planning, methodology development and execution strategy for Sizewell C.
This is a unique opportunity for experienced Mechanical, Electrical or HVAC construction professionals to help define how major nuclear construction and installation works will be delivered, ensuring construction strategies are grounded in proven site experience and industry best practice.
Reporting to the Pre-Construction Manager, the Constructability Lead will play a pivotal role in translating proven construction and installation knowledge from Hinkley Point C and wider EPR programmes into successful delivery strategies for Sizewell C.
Acting as a recognised subject matter expert within either the Mechanical, Electrical or HVAC discipline, you will use first-hand construction experience to influence the development of the Level 4 Integrated Construction Schedule, ensuring planning assumptions, installation sequences, productivity rates and execution strategies reflect the realities of delivering major MEH works on site.

Working across engineering, construction, project controls and programme teams, you will identify lessons learned from major nuclear construction projects and transform them into practical improvements that enhance constructability, reduce delivery risk and improve schedule certainty. You will help shape how the project will be built by ensuring construction planning, installation methodologies and delivery strategies are aligned with proven construction experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the capture, analysis and implementation of lessons learned from Hinkley Point C and other relevant EPR projects.
- Provide expert constructability input into construction planning and scheduling activities.
- Influence the development of the Level 4 Integrated Construction Schedule through practical construction and installation expertise.
- Challenge and validate construction methodologies, installation sequences, productivity assumptions and execution strategies.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, construction, project controls and programme teams to develop realistic and achievable delivery plans.
- Support the development of construction execution plans, installation methodologies and work packaging strategies.
- Identify construction-related schedule risks, constraints, dependencies and opportunities.
- Lead and facilitate constructability reviews and lessons learned workshops.
- Support operational readiness activities and construction planning governance processes.
- Act as the recognised construction SME for your discipline, supporting informed decision-making across the project lifecycle.
- Ensure lessons learned from HPC are effectively embedded into Sizewell C construction planning and delivery activities.

Requirements
- Significant construction delivery experience within Mechanical, Electrical or HVAC disciplines on major infrastructure, energy or nuclear projects.
- Direct experience working on Hinkley Point C or another major EPR project is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, installation methodologies, productivity measurement and construction execution planning.
- Experience influencing construction planning, constructability reviews and project delivery strategies.
- Knowledge of work packaging, installation planning and construction governance processes.
- Experience working with engineering, construction and project controls teams in a major project environment.
- Ability to challenge assumptions, facilitate workshops and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Understanding of nuclear new-build delivery, quality requirements, safety standards and regulatory expectations.
Please note: We are recruiting dedicated Constructability Leads across Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC disciplines. Candidates are not expected to possess deep expertise across all three disciplines. We are seeking subject matter experts within their respective discipline who can apply practical construction knowledge and lessons learned from major project delivery environments.
