Associate – Non-Contentious Construction | NQ-2 PQE

The Role

The position sits within the firm’s highly regarded Projects, Development & Construction team, focusing on non-contentious construction. The successful candidate will be involved in advising on procurement strategies, drafting and negotiating standard form and bespoke construction contracts, and supporting clients on major development projects. Work will span diverse sectors including regeneration, accommodation, education, and healthcare, alongside opportunities to work on energy and infrastructure projects.

What They’re Looking For

  • NQ-2 years PQE with a focus on non-contentious construction law
  • Familiarity with standard form contracts (JCT, NEC, EPC)
  • Exposure to commercial and/or housing development work
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development
  • Team player with an interest in construction and development sectors
