LET'S CUT STRAIGHT TO IT

At Severn Trent, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We're committed to delivering essential services for our customers while improving the environment and supporting the communities we serve.

We're looking for a Construction Assurance Engineer who share our passion for safe, high-quality project delivery and want to play a key role in delivering some of the UK's most important wastewater treatment projects.

If you want to make a genuine difference, influence positive outcomes and help drive excellence across construction projects, we'd love to hear from you.

LET'S TELL YOU MORE

We're looking for a Construction Assurance Engineer to join our Wastewater Treatment Capital Delivery Team.

As a Construction Assurance Engineer, you'll provide an independent construction assurance presence across our capital investment programme, supporting the successful delivery of projects that improve the performance, resilience and sustainability of our wastewater treatment assets.

You'll work closely with Project Managers, Lead Project Managers, operational teams and delivery partners to provide confidence that construction activities are being delivered safely, compliantly, sustainably and to the required quality standards.

The role is far more than just site inspections. You'll act as a trusted advisor to project teams, providing construction expertise, identifying emerging risks, supporting the resolution of site issues and promoting best practice and continuous improvement across our supply chain partners.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
