Job Description
Are you passionate about creating smarter, safer, and more efficient design solutions? Are you ready to work on critical national infrastructure with a fantastic team? Then this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for. Due to increased client demand Turner and Townsend are looking for Construction Assurance Manager to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementing client-side construction assurance plan
- Monitor and verify that contractors implement approved construction methodologies, QMS and ITPs
- Provide assurance that construction works are delivered safely to required quality and compliance with design, technical standards, contract requirements and regulatory obligations
- Monitor construction progress against the accepted programme
- Construction Management Plan oversight and acceptance
- Act as client representative on site
- Produce assurance reports to leadership and regulators
- Capture lessons learned and drive improvements in construction quality, safety and delivery
- Manage and support any safety incidents

Qualifications
- Extensive construction experience in managing and assuring construction delivery on major programmes.
- Degree in Engineering, Construction management or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Chartered status (CEng, MCIOB, MRICS, MICE) or equivalent (desirable).
- Recognised HSE and environment qualifications (desirable).
- Ability to work collaboratively within a large project team, including construction managers, contractors and supply chains to ensure compliance with technical standards, specifications and contractual obligations.
- Ability to demonstrate a commitment to service excellence, be committed to delivering to agreed quality standards.
- Experience in construction assurance, and quality management.
- Knowledge of construction methods, risk management and safety requirements.
- Ability to produce assurance reports for the wider team, including senior stakeholders.
