BAE Systems Defence & Security Sector Opportunity
Our client BAE Systems, a leading entity in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking Contract/ Construction Management (Specialist Work Service) Engineers to join their team on a contract basis in Samlesbury, with potential work from Warton. This is an opportunity for four individuals to contribute to critical projects over a 12-month period, working full-time on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engineering solutions within the scope of SISS (Specialist Information Systems & Support)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met
- Conduct detailed assessments and provide expert recommendations for enhancements
- Ensure compliance with Defence & Security protocols and standards
- Prepare technical documentation and reports on project progress
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss project milestones and updates
- Provide technical support and guidance as required
- Adhere to regulatory and safety standards within the industry

Job Requirements:
- Experience in design engineering, particularly within SISS
- Understanding of Defence & Security industry protocols and standards
- Ability to work under the BPSS with SC in Flight clearance
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in preparing technical reports and documentation
- Commitment to working full-time on-site
