Position: Contracts Manager

Office location: Brighton, Sussex

Catchment area for projects: Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire and Dorset

Salary/Package: £ DOE + car allowance and package

Target start date: September 2026


The company:

A multi-disciplinary main contractor delivering new build and refurbishment schemes across most sectors of the construction industry delivered through design & build and framework procurement routes.


The role:

As one of the business's Contracts Managers you will be responsible for the management of up to 4 construction schemes from PCSA activities through delivery and to final account. Your role will include but not be limited to:

  • Client and stakeholder engagement (tender interviews, pre-starts and monthly reporting)
  • Creating full lifecycle construction programme and rolling programmes
  • Management of delivery teams of varying sizes
  • Recruitment of operations staff
  • Design coordination in conjunction with the design team
  • Health and safety monitoring and promotion
  • Monitoring project performance to ensure employers requirements compliance, key milestones are achieved and target margin is on track
  • Monthly reporting and project review meetings

About you:

  • 2-3 years experience as Contracts Manager with a Tier 1 or 2 main contractor is 100% essential
  • Experience of producing lifecycle construction programme using either Asta Power Projects or Microsoft Project is also 100% essential.
  • You will of successfully delivered Design & Build, Traditional with CDP contracts previously
