Contracts Manager

London | New Build Residential & High-Rise Remediation
Salary: Up to £110,000 + Excellent Package

Are you an experienced Contracts Manager looking for an opportunity to lead a diverse portfolio of residential construction projects across London?

We are seeking a highly capable Contracts Manager to oversee a mix of low-rise new build housing developments and high-rise residential cladding remediation schemes. This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to work with an established and growing contractor delivering complex residential projects across the capital.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Construction Director, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple live projects, ensuring delivery is achieved safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing a portfolio of low-rise residential new build schemes and occupied high-rise remediation projects.
  • Leading and developing Project Managers, Site Managers and site-based delivery teams.
  • Driving programme performance, commercial awareness and operational excellence.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant building safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, residents and stakeholders.
  • Identifying and managing project risks while implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Supporting pre-construction and tender activities where required.
  • Promoting a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement throughout the business.

About You

We are looking for a proven operational leader with experience delivering residential construction projects in London.

You will ideally possess:

  • A strong track record in multi-project operational management.
  • Experience overseeing residential new build developments.
  • Knowledge and experience of façade, cladding remediation or building safety works on occupied high-rise residential building's
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to influence project performance.
  • Strong understanding of health, safety and quality management.
  • Relevant industry qualifications including SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (desirable).
  • A collaborative and proactive management style.
