Job Description
The Data Center Construction Enablement Engineer for Services will serve as Vertiv’s specialist in the data center construction domain, taking end-to-end ownership of the technical elements that underpin DC construction service solutions. Working in close partnership with the Infrastructure Solutions team, Project Services Team, and the Portfolio & Strategy Lead, you’ll bring technical expertise in data center construction and systems (including MV and LC/high-density applications for OneCore), to shape proposals that are technically sound and commercially credible. Whether supporting in a customer workshop, contributing to an integrated service bundle, or developing reference architectures, you’ll operate as the trusted data center construction and solutions voice across the solutions-led Power Train & Thermal Chain.
Key Responsibilities
Data Center Construction Technical Delivery
- Own data center construction services technical solution design and quoting from end-to-end, from brief through to customer-ready output
- Provide support for bundled solutions and technical playbooks for the data center construction services domain
- Act as the go-to expert across EMEA for data center construction services
- Maintain technical quality across all data center construction services and solutions outputs

Sales & Customer Engagement
- Provide technical support for sales engagements and customer-facing presentations
- Lead customer-facing data center construction services solution design workshops and consultations
- Support complex deal preparation and verification with data center construction service domain expertise
- Develop customer-specific data center construction service and solutions solution proposals
Solution Architect Input
- Provide specialist data center construction services input to the Product Application Engineer/Portfolio & Strategy Lead to prepare for cross-domain solution wrapping
- Collaborate on solution architecture, with data center construction service elements accurately scoped throughout
- Support the sales teams in positioning data center construction services at the front of customer engagements
RFP & Commercial Support
- Lead data center construction service scope within RFP responses and quoting processes
- Develop data center construction pricing inputs and service configuration logic
- Support bid management with third parties on new data center construction services
- Produce technical documentation for data center construction service proposals
Domain Expertise & Knowledge
- Maintain expert technical knowledge in data center construction services and systems, including MV and LC/high-density enablements for OneCore/Modular builds
- Develop data center construction reference architectures and reusable design patterns
- Contribute domain expertise to training materials and enablement assets
- Provide data center construction market and technology input to the Portfolio & Strategy Lead
