Construction Engineer
Manpower (Cavendish)
Hinkley Point C
Main Duties:
- Supporting the planning, coordination and execution of mechanical equipment installation activities across the HPC site.
- Managing construction work packs and ensuring installation documentation is completed, reviewed and maintained in line with project requirements.
- Monitoring installation progress, identifying blockers and driving actions to maintain delivery against programme schedules.
- Collaborating with internal teams, subcontractors, client representatives and contractors to resolve technical and construction challenges.
- Providing strong health, safety and environmental leadership while ensuring compliance with site licence conditions, CDM requirements and project procedures.

Requirements:
- Higher National Certificate, Higher National Diploma or Degree in a mechanical engineering discipline.
- Alternatively, a relevant engineering apprenticeship supported by significant experience in a similar role.
- Experience within construction, engineering, nuclear, oil and gas, energy, infrastructure or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience supporting the installation of mechanical equipment, mechanical systems or HVAC systems.
- Experience coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders and project teams.
- Knowledge of construction processes, installation planning and project delivery requirements.
- Experience supervising or coordinating construction activities would be advantageous.
