Summary
£40,000 pro rata | 23 month Fixed Term Contract | 30 days holiday (pro rata) | 10% in-store discount | Company Car
This is a National Programme with Year 1 based in a region stated below and Year 2 based in London.
Regions:
- Scotland: Includes the whole of Scotland.
- North: Newton Aycliffe, Leeds, Runcorn & Doncaster Regions.
- Midlands & Wales: Peterborough, Wednesbury & Bridgend Regions.
- London: Battersea, Belvedere & Luton Regions.
- South: Bristol, Exeter, Southampton & Northfleet Regions.

Setting the Stage for Your Future
The Lidl Construction Graduate programme allows you to rotate through our real estate and construction departments, learning how we identify, acquire and deliver the best retail sites, that define our customer’s shopping experience and drive the success of one of the UK’s fastest growing retailers. You’ll be solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment, following a structured training programme that allows you to gain real world experience and exposure right from the start of your journey. From planning and project management to operational excellence, you’ll develop the skills needed to succeed in one of the UK’s most competitive industries, building your expertise from day one.

The process will also include a video interview and face-to-face assessment centre held in our Head Office in Tolworth on 30/11/2026 & 01/12/2026. We look forward to receiving your application.
What You'll Do
- Develop construction expertise and management capabilities
- Spend time in our Retail, Logistics and Real Estate teams, giving you great all-round knowledge
- Learn how a rapidly growing retail business operates from the ground up
- Take on real project responsibility and make a tangible difference to our business
- Work as part of a team, but be equally happy working independently on your sites
- Gain exposure to a national Real Estate team and learn the market inside-out
- Understand how a successful Real Estate team operates and what skills you need to thrive
What You'll Need
- Achieved or 2:2 or higher in a Bachelor's Degree
- Are eligible to work in the UK on a full-time basis and able to provide proof when required
- Able to commute/relocate within a reasonable commute to our Head Office in Tolworth, South West London
- A degree in Real Estate, Construction and/or Engineering is essential
- To be a true people person with energy, passion, resilience and adaptability
- Ability to communicate confidently and effectively across all levels of the business
- A passion for playing your part in a team and ability to work independently
- Self-motivation and determination to succeed in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- A desire to learn and develop new skills while challenging yourself in your work
- Be assertive and confident
- Possession of a full UK driving licence by 1st February 2027
