Labourer – Aggregate Recycling Site
Location: Cotes Park, Somercotes DE55 4NJ
Job Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team at a busy aggregate recycling site. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is physically fit, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Duties
- Carrying out general yard duties, including keeping the yard clean, tidy, and free of hazards
- Monitoring and picking aggregate waste and products to ensure quality control standards are met
- Working around heavy machinery, crushers, and screens, requiring constant alertness and strict adherence to health and safety procedures
- Assisting with general site tasks as required

Requirements
- Previous experience in a yard, quarry, or recycling environment is desirable but not essential
- Ability to remain alert and safety-focused when working near moving machinery and plant equipment
- Good physical fitness, as the role involves manual work and being on your feet for extended periods
- A reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Own transport may be required due to site location
