Construction Lawyer | 6+ PQE | Leading International Firm | London

We are working with a leading international law firm seeking an experienced Construction Lawyer (6+ PQE) to join its highly regarded London practice.

The team advises on complex, high-value development and infrastructure projects, with data centres forming a significant and growing part of the practice. As such, experience advising on data centre developments would be particularly attractive, although it is not essential.

The role will involve advising developers, investors, funders, and other major clients on the full range of non-contentious construction matters, including:

  • Drafting and negotiating building contracts, professional appointments, warranties, and other construction documentation
  • Advising on procurement strategy and construction risk allocation
  • Construction aspects of major development, investment, financing, and corporate transactions
  • Development and forward-funding arrangements
  • Significant data centre and other large-scale development projects
  • Managing transactions and supervising more junior lawyers
  • Working closely with colleagues across real estate, finance, and corporate teams

The successful candidate will have 6+ years' PQE with strong non-contentious construction experience gained at a leading City, international, or highly regarded specialist practice.

Data centre experience would be particularly advantageous, as would experience acting on technically complex, high-value developments.
