Construction Solicitor | NQ- 4 PQE

TSR Legal are pleased to be working with a highly regarded national law firm, which is looking to appoint a Construction Solicitor (NQ- 4 PQE) to join its growing and well-established Construction team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with an interest in contentious construction work to develop their career within a supportive and highly experienced national team.

The Role

You will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of high-quality and complex construction disputes, including:

  • Adjudication and litigation matters
  • Pre-action and Protocol work
  • Strategic dispute resolution
  • Mediation and other flexible dispute resolution methods
  • Advising clients on commercially focused and pragmatic solutions

The role will primarily focus on contentious construction matters, although there will also be the opportunity to gain exposure to non-contentious construction work for those who are interested.

You will work with an impressive client base, including national developers, contractors, major housebuilders and housing providers, providing practical and commercially minded legal advice on complex construction matters.

About You

This opportunity would suit a newly qualified Solicitor or someone with up to around 4 years' PQE who has:

  • An interest in contentious construction work
  • Experience within a specialist construction team, or exposure through a construction seat during training
  • The ability to manage a varied workload with an appropriate level of supervision
  • Strong commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • Ambition to develop their expertise and build a long-term career in construction law
