Contract: 12-18 Month Fixed-Term Contract
The Opportunity
A leading real estate development business is seeking an experienced Construction Legal Counsel to provide hands-on legal support across a portfolio of development and construction projects.
The role will work closely with development, technical, and project teams, advising on construction-related matters and managing drafting, negotiation, and contractual risk across live projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate construction documentation.
- Advise on construction risk and procurement matters.
- Support project teams on contractual and commercial issues.
- Manage legal matters independently with minimal supervision.
- Liaise with external legal advisers where required.
- Support building safety and remediation projects where applicable.

Experience Required
- Qualified Solicitor with strong construction law experience.
- Extensive experience advising on:
- JCT contracts
- Design & Build contracts
- Professional appointments
- Design agreements
- Collateral warranties
- Construction documentation generally
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and provide practical, commercial advice.
