Following its successful management buyout in 2026, MCG Logistics has entered an exciting new chapter as an independent business. With a growing portfolio of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments across London and the Southeast, we're expanding our logistics management team and we're looking for an experienced Construction Logistics Manager who shares our G.R.E.A.T. values – being Genuine, Respectful, Ethical, Attentive and Tenacious, and wants to play a key role in delivering some of London's most prestigious construction projects.

About the Role

As a Construction Logistics Manager, you'll take ownership of all aspects of site logistics, ensuring projects operate safely, efficiently and in line with programme requirements.

Working closely with clients, site teams and subcontractors, you'll be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day logistics operation while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete construction logistics package on busy construction sites.
  • Coordinate delivery management systems, booking procedures and vehicle movements.
  • Develop and implement effective traffic management plans.
  • Manage waste management, recycling and sustainability initiatives.
  • Oversee site setup, welfare facilities, security and access arrangements.
  • Coordinate material movements and site logistics planning.
  • Plan and supervise crane operations and lifting activities.
  • Produce weekly logistics reports and Friday packs.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and site management teams.
  • Ensure all logistics activities comply with Health & Safety, environmental and company standards.

About You

We're looking for experienced Construction Logistics Managers who can confidently manage complex site logistics while building strong relationships with project teams.

You'll ideally have:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Logistics Manager or Site Logistics Manager.
  • Strong understanding of construction site logistics and logistics planning.
  • Experience managing delivery management systems and traffic management.
  • Knowledge of waste management and sustainable construction practices.
  • Excellent planning, communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple stakeholders within fast-paced construction environments.
  • A proactive approach with a strong commitment to health, safety and operational excellence.
