Rate: £27.50 per hour CIS

Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Logistics / Store Manager to join a large civil engineering project. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day management of the site stores, ensuring materials, equipment and documentation are accurately controlled and maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the site stores.
- Receive, check, record and distribute materials, tools and equipment.
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure inventory is properly controlled.
- Manage store information and records using computer systems.
- Ensure all equipment and materials are stored safely and correctly.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure records are kept up to date.
- Ensure compliance with PUWER and COSHH requirements.
- Liaise with site teams, suppliers and project management to ensure materials and equipment are available when required.
- Monitor stock levels and identify any shortages or requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe store environment.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accurate record keeping.

Essential Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Store Manager / Logistics Manager on a large civil engineering project.
- PUWER certification and practical experience – essential.
- COSHH certification and practical experience – essential.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- Previous experience managing site stores and stock control systems.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a busy site environment.
