About the Role
The primary responsibility of the Construction Manager within London Projects is to ensure that site-based deliverables are completed in accordance with design documentation and project requirements.
Enjoy the flexibility of hybrid working, with at least two days per week based from our Pirin Court office (E16 4TL). The role will also involve travel to project sites, giving you valuable exposure to projects and stakeholders across the programme.
What you’ll do
- Ability to manage and deliver site-based works for communications and technology-based systems (CCTV, Public Address, Networking Infrastructure, installation of containment systems etc)
- Oversee the safe, compliant delivery of works, ensuring all site activities are completed in line with approved designs, project requirements, and industry standards.
- Prepare and manage key project documentation, including Health & Safety and CDM documentation, while coordinating construction and asset installation activities on site.
- Promoting and Setting Collaborative Planning sessions to help the operational teams develop detailed 3 week look-ahead programmes which meet all milestone requirements, including Key Dates, of the latest agreed programme.
- Integrating preconstruction and design deliverables into the project programmes.
- Providing regular updates and progress reports to internal and external stakeholders.

Who you are
This role would suit a Construction Manager with previous experience of successfully delivering communications and technology-based systems projects. This could have been across Telecoms, Airports, large buildings, LU, TFL or Rail-related Infrastructure projects. If you can think outside the box, knows how to solve problems and deliver projects on time and to budget then this could be the role for you.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience as a Construction Manager delivering medium to large scale communications and technology-based systems (CCTV, Public Address, Networking Infrastructure, Telecoms, installation of containment systems)
- Working Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and best practices
- Financial and commercial awareness
- SSTS/SMSTS
- Full UK Driving Licence
