About the Role

We are looking for an experienced site based Construction Manager who can independently manage medium to large construction projects from start to completion.

Responsibilities

This is a hands-on role requiring daily site presence and direct leadership of site teams and subcontractors. You must be able to take ownership of delivery and make informed decisions with minimal supervision.

  • Strong technical knowledge across structural works and architectural details and mechanical and electrical installations is essential.
  • You must confidently interpret drawings and specifications. Identify clashes and buildability issues. Coordinate trades and ensure work is carried out correctly on site.
  • You should have a sound understanding of UK Building Regulations and practical experience dealing with Building Control. This includes arranging inspections and addressing comments and ensuring the required documentation and compliance evidence are in place.
  • We need someone who can assess problems as they arise and implement practical solutions within their authority. You must also recognise when specialist design input or approval is required and take responsibility for getting the agreed solution delivered on site.
  • You will oversee construction sequencing and daily activities alongside programme management and resource planning. You will maintain quality and site safety and manage subcontractor performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
