At Skanska

We’re shaping the way we live, work and connect. As one of the world’s largest construction and development companies, we work together with customers, communities and partners to shape a better society.

We Are Currently Looking For a Construction Manager

You will work with our Building Team, at South Molton Triangle, a mixed-use development in the Mayfair conservation area of central London. The role will plan, manage, coordinate and oversee key work areas and subcontract packages across the full construction life-cycle, from structural works and demolition to internal fit-out, supporting the successful delivery of high-specification commercial office developments.

As The Construction Manager You Will

  • Lead and motivate teams to deliver project and area objectives, providing clear direction and effective people management.
  • Champion a strong site safety culture, ensuring all works are planned, controlled and delivered in line with statutory requirements and company health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
  • Manage trade contractors across design coordination, procurement, prefabrication and on-site performance.
  • Resolve site issues promptly, report defects or non-conformances, and identify opportunities to improve methods and drive innovation.
  • Maintain effective commercial control of contractors, ensuring delivery within budget and that contractual and claims correspondence is managed accurately and on time.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
