Join our dynamic Design and Construction Execution team and become a pivotal part of Amazon's infrastructure expansion across Europe. You'll play a critical role in transforming project concepts into reality, supporting the development of delivery stations and fulfillment centers that power our global logistics network.
This role offers structured learning opportunities while contributing to Amazon's infrastructure expansion.
Would you like an opportunity to travel and work in multiple EU countries and cultures? The role will be based in London with 50% of time traveling either domestically within the country or to other EMEA countries.
Key job responsibilities
- Support end-to-end project delivery from initial concept through final construction
- Assist in preparing comprehensive project budgets and detailed schedules
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
- Maintain meticulous project documentation and tracking systems
- Learn and apply best practices in pre-construction and construction processes
A day in the life
Your day will be a blend of strategic planning and hands-on project coordination. You might start by reviewing permit applications, then transition to construction site visits, engaging with contractors, and tracking project milestones. About the team
We are a collaborative team of professionals dedicated to delivering complex infrastructure projects. Our approach emphasizes continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and innovative problem-solving. We value team members who bring curiosity, analytical thinking, and a passion for building world-class facilities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint)
- Experience using data analysis to drive business decisions
- Experience communicating results to stakeholders
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English at C1 level or above
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, Civil Engineering, Architecture (or country equivalent)
- Experience supporting or managing construction projects in a commercial or industrial setting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of project management tools
- Experience with building codes and regulations for your region
- Experience using tools to create, manage, and publish documentation
- Internship experience in construction or design
- Experience in managing cool chains, refrigeration equipment and installations, temperature-controlled environments
- Additional language skills (French, German, Polish, Arabic, Portuguese, Turkish, Chinese (Mandarin), Afrikaans and Zulu ) are beneficial for cross-regional project coordination across EMEA
