Construction Manager

Due to continued growth and exciting projects, KONE is looking for a Construction Manager to join our Lift Installation team. This role will cover South Manchester, Liverpool and North Wales.
As a Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of installation projects. Through predictive planning, proactive site management and standardised ways of working, you will lead and develop installation teams to achieve operational excellence.
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain accurate schedules for material deliveries, installation activities and project handovers, ensuring site readiness and timely resolution of non-conformities.
- Ensure full compliance with all health, safety and environmental requirements, promoting a safe working environment for employees, subcontractors and customers.
- Plan and coordinate installation resources, logistics and workforce requirements to optimise efficiency and deliver projects in line with customer commitments.
- Provide clear direction to installation teams, setting expectations, monitoring progress and maintaining regular communication to achieve agreed objectives.
- Lead, coach and develop team members by identifying training needs, recognising good performance and driving continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular site visits, safety audits and handovers, while effectively managing installation costs and supporting project profitability.
- Drive customer satisfaction through proactive communication and the delivery of safe, high-quality installations that meet scope, schedule and budget requirements.

Skills and Experience
- People management / Leadership
- Customer and Sub-contractor Relationship management
- Commercial awareness
- Excellent health and safety knowledge is essential for this role
- Full UK Driving licence
- Lift industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
