About The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to register your interest in future Construction Manager opportunities based in London. Roles of this type could involve taking responsibility for on-site delivery, coordinating trades and resources, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. You could work on projects ranging from fit-outs to larger-scale builds, with scope to influence how work is delivered and standards are maintained across the site.

What You Would Do

Typical responsibilities could include:

  • Managing day-to-day site operations, from resource allocation through to daily progress reporting
  • Coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors to keep delivery on schedule and on budget
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including SMSTS and relevant site standards
  • Liaising with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain alignment
  • Monitoring project timelines, budgets and quality standards, escalating risks and variances
  • Leading and mentoring site teams to maintain standards and support professional development

What You Could Bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

  • Proven experience managing construction sites, ideally in a UK context
  • Knowledge of health and safety compliance, including SMSTS, First Aid and relevant construction regulations
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working with budgets, schedules and resource planning
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent

Preferred qualifications could include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline
  • Site management certifications (SMSTS, CITB)
  • Experience on projects of similar scale and complexity
