Construction Manager - Overhead Lines (OHL)

We're hiring a Construction Manager to support the delivery of major Scottish transmission and power infrastructure projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Construction Managers or ambitious Project Engineers ready to step into a site leadership role. This role is expected to run for the next 2 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead safe delivery of OHL construction activities including foundations, towers/poles, stringing and outage works and ASTI Dips.
  • Manage site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Drive programme, quality, and commercial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with HSEQ, CDM, and client requirements.
  • Dealing with both the client and contractors.

We're Looking For:

  • Strong Overhead Line (OHL) delivery experience.
  • Either background with SSEN or SPEN 33kv or 132kv.
  • Transmission, utilities, or power sector background.
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good understanding of HSEQ and CDM requirements.
  • SMSTS preferred.
