Built isn’t waiting for the future. We’re building it.

This is where you build your capability across complex construction projects. At Built, you will take ownership of key site activities, solve practical delivery challenges and work closely with experienced site leaders who back you to grow.

The Opportunity

As Construction Manager, you will support the Site Manager with the day-to-day coordination and supervision of construction activities. You will help keep the project safe, organised and moving to programme, while working closely with subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team to deliver quality outcomes.

  • Coordinate day-to-day site activities and trade interfaces in line with the construction programme.
  • Support a positive health, safety and environmental culture by maintaining clear standards and addressing risks early.
  • Monitor progress, site logistics and upcoming works, escalating issues and helping the team keep delivery on track.
  • Work with subcontractors and consultants to confirm readiness, resolve site issues and maintain effective communication.
  • Complete quality checks, support defects resolution and help achieve a high-quality handover.

What We Are Looking For

You are a hands-on construction professional who enjoys coordinating people, solving site challenges and contributing to a strong project team. You will bring:

  • Relevant experience coordinating construction delivery on building projects.
  • Relevant qualifications in Building, Construction or Engineering.
  • A practical understanding of site operations, construction methodology, programme coordination and quality assurance.
  • The ability to build productive working relationships with site teams, subcontractors, consultants and other stakeholders.
  • Strong planning, organisation and communication skills, with the confidence to raise issues and recommend solutions.
  • Appropriate health and safety qualifications and experience, with a proactive approach to compliance and risk.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
