Construction Manager
Project: Major Construction Project
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Construction Manager to join a major construction project in the Middlesbrough area.
The successful candidate will oversee on-site construction activities, coordinate site teams and contractors, and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with the project programme and required standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and coordinating day-to-day construction activities on site
- Supervising site teams, contractors, and subcontractors
- Monitoring progress against the construction programme
- Coordinating construction activities to ensure the efficient delivery of the works
- Working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team
- Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Monitoring quality and ensuring construction standards are maintained
- Identifying and addressing site issues and construction-related risks
- Ensuring health and safety requirements are followed across site activities
- Attending site meetings and providing regular progress updates

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager within the construction sector
- Strong experience managing construction activities on major projects
- Experience within industrial, civils, infrastructure, or similar construction environments
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, processes, and site management
- Ability to manage contractors, subcontractors, and site teams effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work to project programmes and deadlines
- Right to work in the UK
