Description
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Construction Mechanical Installer to support our offsite construction and manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for installing HVAC duct systems and commercial and modular building projects, ensuring proper fit, airflow efficiency, and compliance with industry standards in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Install commercial HVAC duct systems, including sheet metal and flexible duct.
- Assist with RTU, split systems, exhaust fans, and other equipment install.
- Seal ductwork systems for proper airflow and energy efficiency.
- Install copper line sets and hard copper.
- Insulate the ductwork to improve energy efficiency.
- Use measurement tools to ensure accurate layout and installation.
- Use blueprints to install grilles and diffusers in correct locations.
- Inspect completed installations for quality and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain tools, materials, and a clean, organized workspace.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members and other trades to meet project timelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Job Skills & Qualifications
- Previous commercial duct installation or HVAC experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and duct layouts.
- Ability to accurately use measurement tools.
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and duct installation practices.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift to 50 lbs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Certificate from an accredited HVAC program is preferred.
