Role Description
The Construction Office Administrator (with Estimating & Procurement) is a full-time or part-time role. This role involves managing daily office administration, handling correspondence, maintaining records, and coordinating schedules and documentation for construction projects. The position includes supporting estimating activities, such as gathering supplier quotes, preparing cost estimates, and assisting with tender documentation. The administrator also supports procurement by tracking materials, placing orders, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery to sites. The role requires close collaboration with project managers, site teams, and clients, while maintaining accurate data and up-to-date project files.

- Strong office administration and administrative assistance skills, including organizing files, managing documentation, and supporting daily office operations.
- Ability to operate and manage office equipment and software tools commonly used in construction and business environments.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
- Customer service skills to respond professionally to inquiries, support site teams, and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
- Experience or strong interest in construction estimating and procurement, including a basic understanding of materials, suppliers, and cost tracking.
- Proficiency with MS Office or similar software (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfort working with spreadsheets and databases.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in construction, engineering, or a related field is an advantage; relevant vocational or college-level qualification is beneficial.
