Construction Planner

Location: Central London

Salary: £50-70,000 + package


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Construction Planner to join a leading Project Management consultancy based in Central London. They will join an established international business who are experts in managing construction projects for their clients.

The Construction Planner will be responsible for providing expert planning and programming services to the project managers and clients through all phases of design, pre-construction, construction, and project completion. They will support the delivery of projects across a range of sectors including mixed use, commercial offices, hotels, life sciences, and education to name a few.

The Construction Planner will look to make an impact and become an integral part of the business. They will be provided with the opportunity to grow their career with a dynamic company who are involved on some of the Capital's most exciting projects.

Candidate

  • Extensive experience in the development of logical / logic linked integrated master programmes (pre and post construction), for large and complex developments in excess of £50+m.
  • Experienced in preparing a linked bar chart and understands the different types of dependencies and float and determine the critical path/s.
  • Can update the programme with progress and report upon progress. (Progress monitoring and auditing assessment on lifecycle of projects).
  • Can assess a programme and identify the 'critical' activities, risk items, and opportunities.
  • Understands and can communicate the principles behind critical path analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodology, techniques, site logistics, and phasing plans.
  • Extensive experience in the development and design of programmes with a high degree of commercial acumen.
  • Proficient in the use of ASTA Powerproject is essential.
