What You’ll Do
As a Construction Planner, you will support the planning and delivery of major nuclear and infrastructure projects. You will develop and maintain construction programmes, monitor progress, and work closely with construction, engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure activities remain aligned with project milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain construction programmes using Primavera P6
- Plan construction activities, sequencing, dependencies, milestones, and interfaces
- Monitor progress against baseline programmes and identify delays and schedule risks
- Analyse critical paths, programme variances, and potential impacts on project milestones
- Prepare short term lookahead programmes and regular planning reports
- Coordinate with construction teams, engineers, subcontractors, and project managers
- Review contractor programmes and identify interface or sequencing issues
- Support schedule impact assessments, change management, and recovery planning
- Attend progress meetings and provide clear programme updates to project stakeholders
- Ensure planning activities comply with project procedures and relevant industry requirements

Who You Are
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
- Experience in construction planning or project controls within nuclear, infrastructure, energy, or engineering environments
- Strong practical experience with Primavera P6
- Good understanding of construction sequencing, critical path, dependencies, and schedule management
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
- Comfortable working across multidisciplinary project teams and managing changing priorities
- Experience within nuclear or other highly regulated environments would be advantageous
