Construction Planner
Location: Manchester
Salary: up to circa £65,000 + car allowance + package
A top opportunity has arisen for a Construction Planner with 3 years plus experience to join the busy construction division of a leading name in main contracting. Based in Manchester the Construction Planner will join a dynamic organization who have a very strong pipeline of work in the North West.
The Construction Planner will join an established team and will report into the region’s Planning Manager. They will be involved on projects throughout their full life cycle, from tender stage through to completion. The projects are typically valued between £40-60m and cover a range of build sectors including large city centre commercial schemes, university new builds, hotel and high-end residential schemes to name a few.

The Construction Planner will either be an ambitious and enthusiastic Assistant Planner looking to take the next step on the career ladder or an experienced Construction Planner who keen to develop into a Senior Planner role within the next 12 months. The successful candidate will be provided with first class training and development from a highly experienced team.
Candidate
- Minimum of 2-3 years plus construction planning experience
- Experience working within a main contracting environment
- Tender planning experience would be a distinct advantage however not essential
- Hold a construction related qualification – HND / HNC / Degree
- Good understanding of construction processes and techniques
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Asta Powerproject
