Construction Director – Hyperscale Data Centre Programme

South East UK | Senior Leadership | Global Consultancy | £1.5bn+ Projects

A leading global consultancy is looking to appoint an exceptional Construction Director to lead delivery of a landmark hyperscale data centre programme in the South East.

This is a senior-level opportunity for an established construction leader who wants to work at the highest level of the industry, partnering with a globally recognised, blue-chip client on a major programme of strategic importance.

With a significant pipeline of future projects, this role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact while working alongside some of the most respected organisations and professionals in the sector.

The Role

You will take overall responsibility for construction delivery from pre-construction through to commissioning, providing strategic leadership across multidisciplinary teams and Tier 1 delivery partners.

You will be the senior client interface, trusted to drive performance across programme, cost, quality, safety and risk while maintaining the highest standards of delivery.

This is a highly visible role, requiring the confidence and credibility to operate at executive and board level and influence key decisions throughout the programme lifecycle.

The Profile

  • 15+ years’ construction management experience, including significant senior leadership responsibility
  • Proven delivery of major £100m+ construction projects
  • Strong hyperscale or large-scale data centre experience
  • Extensive experience leading and managing Tier 1 contractors
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management capability
  • Strong commercial, programme, risk and delivery expertise
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior clients and project stakeholders
