Project Manager
Birmingham | £400 - £500 per day | Accommodation Provided (if needed)
I'm working with a specialist contractor with a strong reputation across the UK, delivering RC frame, groundworks and major construction packages on some seriously impressive projects.
They're looking for a Project Manager to join a major £100m + stadium redevelopment in Birmingham, working on the expansion and redevelopment of 1 of the city's biggest football grounds. It's a proper project to have on your CV, with the stadium set to increase its capacity to over 50,000 and the club regularly competing in European football.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Beyond the stadium project, the business has a strong pipeline of work across the UK, meaning there's an opportunity to continue onto another major scheme rather than having to start looking again when the project finishes. There's also the option to move into a permanent position for the right person, if that's what you want of course.
