About The Role

Our client requires a proactive and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead significant building projects in the Milton Keynes area. You will be responsible for the overall planning, management, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This leadership role demands a strategic approach to project delivery, effective stakeholder management, and a keen eye for detail to ensure successful outcomes and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, including planning, design, procurement, and construction phases.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, including site staff, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Manage client relationships and stakeholder communications, providing regular progress updates.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing effective contingency plans.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in project management within the construction industry, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building regulations, and contract management.

  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., PMP, APM, CIOB).
  • Proficiency in project management software.
