Project Manager (Construction)
At Beam Project Management, we're not trying to become the biggest consultancy in the industry.
We're building one that's recognised for delivering exceptional projects, solving complex problems and becoming the trusted partner our clients rely on when it matters most.
We deliver projects across the hospitality, leisure and retail sectors for some of the UK's leading brands, and we're growing quickly.
As we continue to expand, we're looking for a Project Manager who wants more than just another job. We want someone who wants to build a career and play a meaningful role in the growth of the business.
The Opportunity
Joining Beam means becoming part of a small, ambitious consultancy where your contribution genuinely matters.
- You'll work alongside experienced project managers, consultants, contractors and client teams, taking ownership of projects from an early stage and developing into a trusted advisor for our clients.
- You'll be given responsibility, support and the opportunity to grow—not years of sitting on the sidelines waiting for your chance.
- If you're motivated, proactive and willing to learn, you'll progress quickly.
About You
We're looking for someone with a construction background who is ready to take the next step in their career.
Whether you've worked for a contractor, consultant or have a strong MEP background, we're more interested in your attitude, professionalism and willingness to develop than finding the "perfect" CV.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

A Final Thought
This role won't be for everyone.
If you're looking for a business where you'll blend into a large corporate structure, this probably isn't the right fit.
But if you're someone who enjoys taking ownership, thrives on responsibility, wants to build lasting client relationships and is excited by the opportunity to help shape a growing consultancy, we'd love to hear from you.
