About The Role

Our client is looking for an accomplished Construction Project Manager to lead significant building projects in Manchester. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage all phases of the construction lifecycle, from pre-construction planning through to project completion. You will be responsible for budget control, schedule adherence, team leadership, and ensuring client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of assigned construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, resources, budget, and timelines.
  • Manage project teams, including site staff, subcontractors, and consultants, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Implement and enforce rigorous health and safety protocols on all project sites.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, providing regular project updates.
  • Manage procurement, contract administration, and financial control for all project activities.

Requirements

  • Significant experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a portfolio of successfully delivered projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction management principles, contract law, and risk management.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Relevant degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • SMSTS or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
