Are you an experienced Construction Project Manager looking for the opportunity to take ownership of projects from concept through to completion?

Our client, a well-established and growing organisation with an ambitious UK expansion programme, is looking for a hands-on Construction Project Manager to oversee a varied portfolio of developments including refurbishments, new build projects and mixed-use schemes.

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll play a key role in delivering projects safely, on time and within budget, while working closely with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing construction projects from inception through to completion.
  • Coordinating contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Developing project scopes, plans and budgets.
  • Monitoring project performance, costs, timelines and resources.
  • Managing project risks, scope changes and stakeholder expectations.
  • Building strong working relationships with external partners.
  • Ensuring projects comply with relevant legislation and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing construction, fit-out, refurbishment and building projects.
  • Experience delivering new-build steel portal frame projects.
  • A track record of successfully managing projects from cradle to grave.
  • Strong commercial awareness with budgeting and project reporting experience.
  • Experience using project management software such as Monday.com (or similar).
  • Quantity Surveying experience would be advantageous.
  • RICS qualification is desirable but not essential.
