Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects, with a particular focus on Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through commissioning, ensuring delivery is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the construction and delivery of utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects.
  • Manage all phases of project execution, including planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate activities between EPC contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where required to mitigate risks and delays.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout project delivery.
  • Conduct regular site visits and chair construction progress meetings.
  • Review and approve contractor methodologies, schedules, risk assessments, and project documentation.
  • Manage project reporting, including progress updates, risk registers, budget forecasts, and milestone tracking.
  • Oversee contract administration, change management, and claims resolution.
  • Support commissioning activities and ensure successful project handover to operations teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, local authorities, grid operators, and key project stakeholders.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing renewable energy construction projects.
  • Proven experience delivering at least 3 Solar PV and/or BESS projects from construction through commissioning.
  • Strong understanding of utility-scale solar and energy storage technologies.
  • Experience managing EPC contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, project controls, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Strong understanding of HSE regulations and best practices within construction environments.
  • Experience managing project budgets, procurement activities, and contract administration.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
