Contract Construction Project Manager - Data Centre

Contract Type: Contract
Duration: Initial 6–12 months (with potential extension)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to support the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects for my client in London. Working as part of a multidisciplinary project team, you will be responsible for managing project delivery from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring programme, budget, quality and safety objectives are achieved.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in complex construction environments to join a fast-paced project on an initial contract basis.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of construction projects from mobilisation through to handover.
- Manage project schedules, milestones and key deliverables to ensure programme commitments are met.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project costs, variations and commercial performance.
- Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with health, safety and quality standards.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans where required.
- Chair project meetings and provide regular progress updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Review construction documentation, programmes and technical information.
- Support procurement activities and contractor management.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager delivering large-scale construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery processes.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders within complex project environments.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently within a fast-paced project environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and programme management capability.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard project management software.
