Join one of the UK’s leading construction and civil engineering contractors. Proudly family-owned and operating nationally and internationally, Colemans delivers high-profile structural, building, and infrastructure schemes across the UK and Europe. Due to continuous business growth and new contract wins, we are seeking an ambitious Construction Project Manager to lead complex, multi-million-pound build and engineering projects.
Your Role & Responsibilities: What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead construction projects from initial design/planning stages through to practical completion across the UK and Continental Europe, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards.
- Serve as the principal client interface, representing Colemans at key progress, design, and commercial meetings.
- Direct on-site construction operations, site managers, direct labour, and sub-contractors, embedding a rigorous safety-first culture.
- Oversee commercial management, budget controls, valuations, variations, and supply chain procurement.
- Ensure full compliance with UK and European building regulations, planning permissions, environmental standards, and Health & Safety legislation.
- Prepare comprehensive RAMS, construction phase plans (CPP), and project schedules using modern project planning software.
- Monitor project risks, identify potential bottlenecks early, and execute effective solutions.
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.

About You: Experience and Qualifications Required
- Certifications: CSCS Black Manager Card, SMSTS, and NVQ Level 6/7 in Construction Senior Management.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience leading commercial, industrial, or civil engineering builds.
- European Capability: Experience delivering international construction projects across Europe (familiarity with European building codes and additional European languages is a plus).
- Technical Skills: Strong background in structural steel, concrete frames, civils, and complex structural alterations.
- Leadership & Strategy: Proven track record in contract management (NEC, JCT, FIDIC), stakeholder management, and team leadership.
- Mobility: Full UK Driving Licence, valid passport, and flexibility to travel and work away across the UK and Europe as required.
- Preferred Additional Qualifications: Chartered Builder status (MCIOB) or Chartered Engineer (MICE), First Aid at Work, Temporary Works Coordinator.
